BAG COMPRESSION SEALER

What does the Bag Compression Sealer (BCS) do?
The BCS squeezes the free oxygen out of pre-filled bags of fresh-cut produce and then hermetically seals the bag.
What types of products is the BCS used for?
All types of fresh-cut leafy vegetables such as iceberg and romaine lettuce, cabbage, peppers, onions, carrots, celery, broccoli, cauliflower, etc. It can also be used for any type of product that has similar sealing requirements. The compression plates and sealer controls are fully adjustable to accommodate a wide variety of product densities and bag thicknesses.
Is the BCS portable?
Yes, it's very portable. The entire unit is mounted on lockable casters and the sealer head is interchangeable and easily detached from the compression unit, allowing for ease of maintenance and minimal down time.
Is the BCS safe to operate?
Absolutely! The sealer will not operate unless both palm buttons are depressed at the same time, making it virtually impossible to get your hands caught in the sealer jaws. Once the sealer function has finished, the compression unit opens automatically to release the bag.
Why choose the BCS over standard vacuum sealers?
Most produce films are designed to breathe, therefore pulling a vacuum is an unnecessary step that is time consuming and increases equipment costs. The BCS quickly removes the free oxygen in the bag and produces a pillow pack by compressing the package from front to back. The BCS costs less than a vacuum sealer and has a faster cycle time.
